Spring 2024 Registration Information
PARENTS - You must create an Sports Engine account if you do not already have one. You can do so from our website. By doing this, you will receive emails that MALA publishes about important events, clinics, camps, changes in programs, etc. Having an account will also make it easier the next time you register as it will remember your information.

Early bird registration ends on February 14, 2024
In-house: In house will begin first part of May and go through June. You may rent equipment from MALA or use your own. Equipment that is needed in-house includes a helmet, gloves, chest protector, elbow pads, gloves, and mouth guard.
Equipment is available for rent: a $50 refundable check is required.
Travel ( Boy 10U, Boy 12U, Boy 14U): In-door practice will start mid-March and scheduled as times are available for us (typically Mon and Thurs 5:30-7). Outdoor practices will start as soon as the weather allows at either Prairie Winds Middle School, Kennedy Elementary, or Dakota Meadows Middle School. Outdoor practices will be held every day, or as coaches plan.
Games start April 13- May 25th; no games May 27-29 for Memorial Day Weekend. Games are doubleheaders on Saturday OR Sunday.
Boys Spring Youth State Tournament: Sat & Sunday, June 8-9, 2024, at Fernbrook Fields, Maple Grove.
New this year all boys' teams will also be doing the Jesse James tournament in Northfield. This is a one-day tournament; on Sat May 18th.
Equipment needed:
Boys: Helmet, mouth guard, chest protector, elbow pad, gloves, cleats, and stick
MALA has equipment that is available for rent. If you are playing In-house you can rent equipment with a $50 refundable check.
If you are playing travel lacrosse the cost is $50 for a helmet and $50 for a stick, shoulder pads, elbow pads, and gloves.
Parent volunteer: The programs can’t run smoothly without volunteer help from everyone. There are lots of roles that you can help with including; coaching; assistant coach, team manager, clock or scorecards, getting fields ready for games and so much more.

Refund Policy A refund must be requested from the association. There are no refunds for players on scholarship. US lacrosse memberships are nonrefundable. An 80% refund will be provided if request is made prior to start of season. The remaining 20% is administrative fee.
